Can I tap on MedialPortal to control mu cable box? (1 Viewer)

I have my own scheduler that control the recorder. I like to get a IR blaster to change the channel on my cable box and wonder if MP has any command line interface that will help to send the channel number?

I plan to HP MCE Kit IR blaster.

Hi,
I have mce remote control with 2 ir blaster ports so I attach infrared blaster to my stb and it changes channels using ir server suite.
I am not in front of my pc so I don't remember all the plugin names.
When you install ir server suite you should have an option to install tv server plugin. After installation go to tv server configuration, enable ir blaster plugin, expand plugins, click on setup stb, select tv card tab, select stb from list and click on set, choose if you use mce bluster than you need to select the port 1 or 2, you can also test channel change.
