Can MediaPortal or an extension browse all movies? (1 Viewer)

My preliminary analysis of MediaPortal gives me the impression that the software can only show me meta data relating to movies/Tv shows that I have stored locally on my harddrive.

Is there any way to browse all movies with applicable metadata and various filters such as "Top Rated", "Newest", alphabetically ordered?

I do not understand your question. Sounds as if you want to browse the info from all movies ever made?

Yes, and have the ability to watch the ones you have on your computer.

The UI is slick, so that is why I'd want to watch them via MP rather then search through imdb.com or otherwise.
