I'm trying to learn about DVB and I'm using TSReader to look at the MPEG-TS tables, etc... Anyways, does MediaPortal look at the PAT table for the PMT tables and create a list of services based off that or does it look at the NIT table as well? The NIT is a little confusing though. For example, one of the satellites I'm looking at has a transport stream id of 0x0321. However, in the NIT table this transport stream is listed as being broadcast on a different transponder which has me a little confused. Anyways, any kind of overview would be extremely helpful! EDIT: Also, when scanning, what does "updated: XX" mean? Does that mean it received information about a service that was already in the system? (ie. added SDT information, etc)
