Got it to Work WebServices RC3 and MP RC2 with Win 7 64bit (with some issues) Hello, after some digging and trying I got it to work, here is how - maybe it helps: My System: - Windows 7 64bit - Mediaportal 1.1.0.0RC2 - MPWebServices RC3 - SQLExpress 2008 1. Had to install Mediaportal RC2 Server _AND_ Client - installing only the server side did not work for me. 2. Manually stopped the TVService 2. Copy the Gentle.config from "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server" to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\Plugins\MPWebServices\htdocs" 3. Copy: Gentle.Common.dll Gentle.Framework.dll Gentle.Provide.MySQL.dll Gentle.Provider.SQLServer.dll from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server" to: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\Plugins\MPWebServices\htdocs\bin" 4. Manually start the TvService I did only try to schedule a recording yet (which seems to work). NB, I get an error when checking the TvService Status (System.OverflowException: Der Wert für einen Int32 war zu groß oder zu klein. in line 82 of TvServerStatus.aspx.cs) but will check later when I find the sources of MPWebServices. The Plugin is great so I hope it is not orphaned. Is GemX still around? cheers EST
