you have installed RC4 over RC2?

that could lead to weird issues.

please do:

1.run windows-update until all updates are installed
2.make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your hardware
3.rename you MediaPortal folder to MediaPortalold (thats your backup now)
4.uninstall MediaPortal
5.restart Windows
6.install MediaPortal RC4 (do not configure it!)
7.download and apply latest SVN-snapshot
8.run start.bat in MediaPortal folder
9.restart the PC
10.start MediaPortal setup -> Wizard will be started
11.start MediaPortal setup -> configuration will be started (enable powerscheduler plugin)
12. use MediaPortal
