i tried to add them from hand, but everytime i'm in the tuning deatil window, the window don't close after i press "ok" nothing happens.

    Hi Data45000

I see that TV Server picks up quite a few Sky Cinema-ish channels:

So the channels that you're missing aren't one of those?

I can't see any other channels that TV Server does not pick up that have audio and video. There are two strange channels that are picked up:

    2011-08-26 21:24:10.613577 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv: Unknown A Freq:394000 ONID:40984 TSID:65501 SID:10 PMT:0x65 FTA:True LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod256Qam

Have you checked those two channels?

    Two final comments:
    1. Can you please list the details for the two channels that you are missing.
    2. The DVB-C tuning detail add/edit dialog did have a bug in 1.2.0b. It has already been fixed for 1.2.0rc (mantis is here). :)

    :D for reporting!

    Regards,
    mm

I dont know where some PmtPid are listed... i cannot find them.

The two unknown channels are errors! You can delete them ;).

I have a PDF with the TV and Radio channels and their specific Groups - i suggest that, if someone selects "KAbel BW" as the provider MP automaticly creates this groups. so you can see the other language channels, and you can delete them easy...
But the PDF contains my adress... thats bad. It could be better, if MP creates those groups.

Re: AW: Cannot add Chanels - MP dont find some

    Hi again

There are more then two channels missing.
    1. Sky Cinema - Channel: ??? - Frequency 394000 - NetworkId: 133 - TransportId: 2 - ServiceId: 10 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: 101 - Provider: Sky - Modulation 256 QAM - Free to Air: No
    2. Sky Cinema +1 - Channel: ??? - Frequency 394000 - NetworkId: 133 - TransportId: 2 - ServiceId: 11 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: 103 - Provider: Sky - Modulation 256 QAM - Free to Air: No
    3. RTV - Channel: ??? - Frequency 394000 - NetworkId: 133 - TransportId: 2 - ServiceId: 10 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: ?? - Provider: Free - Modulation 256 QAM - Free to Air: Yes
First it seems a little suspicious to me that those two unknown channels that I mentioned were from 394 MHz, and that the service IDs are 10 and 11. What happens if you try rescanning 394 MHz manually? Further, it is illegal according to DVB specifications for two channels (RTV and Sky Cinema in this case) to have the same network ID, transport ID and service ID - are you sure that is correct?

    4. KraichgauTV - Channel: ??? - Frequency 610000 - NetworkId: 40984 - TransportId: 215 - ServiceId: 22430 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: ?? - Provider: Free - Modulation 64 QAM - Free to Air: Yes
    5. Sport in Baden TV - Channel: ??? - Frequency 610000 - NetworkId: 40984 - TransportId: 215 - ServiceId: 22433 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: ?? - Provider: Free - Modulation 64 QAM - Free to Air: Yes
610 MHz was not scanned in either of your logs, probably because it is missing from the frequency list for your country/provider. Obviously TV Server can't pick up channels on frequencies that it doesn't know about. Please check that and submit updated tuning details -->here<-- if necessary.

    6. Luxe.TV HD - not missing but error in DB - Free to Air: YES <--!!!
    7. FOX HD - Free to air: NO <--!!!
    8. Penthouse HD - Free to air: NO <--!!!
    9. National Geografic HD - Free to air: NO <--!!!
    10. Sport1+ HD - Free to air: NO <--!!!
    11. Sport1 HD - Free to air: NO <--!!!

We have improved the scrambled/FTA detection in 1.2.0rc (mantis), so please double-check how things turn out with the RC. Also, some of the channels you listed were definitely saved correctly:

    2011-08-26 21:27:17.439503 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:HD Penthouse HD Freq:706000 ONID:40984 TSID:226 SID:22167 PMT:0x321 FTA:False LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod64Qam
    2011-08-26 21:26:48.782253 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:confused:ky NatGeo HD Freq:674000 ONID:133 TSID:13 SID:112 PMT:0x61 FTA:False LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod256Qam
    2011-08-26 21:26:26.396214 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:HD SPORT1 HD Freq:650000 ONID:40984 TSID:219 SID:22073 PMT:0x579 FTA:False LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod256Qam
    2011-08-26 21:27:31.448327 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:HD Sport1+ HD Freq:722000 ONID:40984 TSID:228 SID:22213 PMT:0x579 FTA:False LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod64Qam

Are you sure you were looking at the right National Geographic HD - there seems to be the scrambled one above and an FTA one?

    2011-08-26 21:28:20.775613 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:HD National Geographic HD Freq:778000 ONID:40984 TSID:235 SID:22358 PMT:0x76D FTA:True LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod64Qam

    12. ROCK TV - False Name: RCK TV is correct name
    13. Pokerchannel - false name: The Poker Channel is correct
We don't make any changes to the names - we save them *exactly* as received. If they are saved as "ROCK TV" and "Pokerchannel" then it is because that is the name that was received from the broadcaster:

    2011-08-26 21:25:26.180109 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:pay deutsch Rock TV Freq:442000 ONID:61441 TSID:10004 SID:53107 PMT:0x73 FTA:False LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod256Qam
    2011-08-26 21:26:26.380613 [(7)]: Found: DVBC:tv:pay int Pokerchannel Freq:650000 ONID:40984 TSID:219 SID:22069 PMT:0x3E9 FTA:False LCN:10000 SymbolRate:6900 Modulation:Mod256Qam
You can always update the names if you don't like them, and rescans will not change the names that you set. :)

    14. Deutsches Anleger Fernsehen - Channel: ??? - Frequency 634000 - NetworkId: 40984 - TransportId: 217 - ServiceId: 22022 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: ?? - Provider: Free - Modulation 256 QAM - Free to Air: Yes
I can't explain why this channel wasn't picked up. Please double check the details and that the channel is still available.

    15. sixx HD - Channel: ??? - Frequency 130000 - NetworkId: 1 - TransportId: 1017 - ServiceId: 61303 - Symbolrate: 6900 - PmtPid: ?? - Provider: KabelBW? - Modulation 256 QAM - Free to Air: No
Again, this frequency was not scanned. Please try scanning manually and provide updated tuning details if the frequency is truly missing.

For DVB-C, TV Server works by scanning the frequency lists that are provided by the community. When you scan for channels, each of the frequencies is scanned and the channels that are found are added to your channel list. It is not possible for us to maintain channel lists - channels change names or move to different frequencies too often for that. We also can't keep the frequency lists up-to-date by ourselves - we rely on people like you to submit updated lists when things change...

    Best regards,
    mm
    :)

Edit: The second HTPC cannot find those two missing channels - they are unknown. I think there is a problem with the new DD Driver for the DD TV cards!
