Just got this usb card and I hate the winfast dtv app it comes with so want to use media portal as it seems ace. however in the configuration it cannot see the card <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite3" alt=":(" title="Frown :(" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":(" /> I've obviously done a fair bit of searching about for help prior to posting this but am clueless now as to how to get media portal to recognise this damn card. It has the latest drivers installedand works fine in the winfast dtv app.</p><p></p><p>I have already corrected the device id in the capture card definitions file. For your info though here are the logs and below are what I've entered for the capture card definitions :</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Card definitions :</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Also saw a suggestion of changing the interface cat to "tunerdevice" and tried this to no avail. In my capture card definitions there is Leadtek Winfast DTV dongle twice. Both are exactly the same so not sure why but just thought I'd mention this.
