Cannot Fastforward (1 Viewer)

Hi,

for a few weeks now I cannot get MP to fastforward (or rewind) any movie which is not wmv. It works fine with wmv, but on all other formats, just nothing happens.
Not quite true, when pressing fastforward on my mce remote, MP skips. when I press FF 6 times, MP skips 5 mins (or so). When I press the skip button, nothing happens....

What I would expect MP to do :
When pressing FF, fast forward, (2x, 4x, 8x, .....)
When pressing skip, skip (30 sec, 1 min, 3 min....)

This only works for wmv....

I tried different skins, and MP versions, and finally thought it might be ffdshow related (since it worked earlier), but no help there - hte older verions don´t work either. Maybe I just screwed something up in the config (ffdshow config, I´d presume)....

Can anyone help ?

Hello mcbelly,

you could try another codec (MPV / dscaler) to rule out a codec related problem.
