Cannot record anything with MP? (1 Viewer)

I cannot record anything with MediaPortal. I use the EPG Grabber - TVxb and it does its job at grabbing the correct schedules. However, I cannot seem to record any shows. I tried recording via the programme guide (Opening up the TVGuide and then selecting a title for recording) and nothing was recorded. I tried recording via the TV mode (ie: turning on MyTV and then recording) and still got the same result.

Sometimes, when I download new guides and scroll to see programmes of the next few days, MP will also crash.

Is there something wrong with the way I configured MP or is it the EPG which is causing the problem?

Hi,

please add logs (/Team Media Portal/MediaPortal/logs/) of a missed recording.
Also please add your system configuration.

My bad

I managed to solve it. Sorry about this. I first wanted to test my capture cards so I set them for 'Viewing Only'. I added the 'For recording' function as well.
