Hi

I just updated to RC3 and now I can't choose my TV as the screen for MP anymore. The option is still there in configuration but for some reason it's greyed out and can't be changed. It worked very well with RC1, which is what I had before, but now there's nothing even after a clean install.

I also updated my graphics drivers at the same time (which is stupid, I know) but it didn't work when i went back to the old ones either. I've lost the installation file for RC1 so I haven't been able to see what would happen if I re-installed that version instead of RC3. Just found a working link for RC1 by using Google a bit so I'm gonna try going back soon.

If anyone could help me on this it would make me very happy because right now I can't really use MP at all. I don't really enjoy watching movies in the kitchen as much as in the sofa... :)

    Hi,
Did you enable it first in the selection above(Use screenselector etc) the screenselecter menu?

    Regards

Wow, I did'nt even see that option.. Maybe I should pay a little bit more attention to what I'm doing... :)

Huge thanks! You just saved me from re-installing with about one second. Now I just have to get my custom resolution working with Nvidias latest drivers, that company don't seem to like me very much. But that worked perfectly before I updated too so maybe I am to look for little check boxes in that case as well... ;)

    Hello,

If you manage to set a custom resolution under Vista with the new NVidia drivers, I'm interested ... I've tried for a long time ...

    Bye

    Well, that's practically impossible.
I used vista before but now I'm back with XP. I actually did manage to set a custom res in Vista but it wasn't with the latest drivers. I had 97.46 or something like that, I'm not sure if it's possible with the newer drivers.

But I would like to get some help from someone who actually knows how these custom resolutions works, because me managing to set it up in Vista was probably about 99% luck. Maybe 98% when it comes to Xp, even though my luck seems to have left me right now, those custom resolutions just won't take effect. It's either a black screen or wrong res, at least it's an easy choice... ;)
