Cant connect to MP2 server (1 Viewer)

I cant connect to the server anymore it only says that it cant find any servers on the network.
The server and client is on the same machine.
Everything seems to start like it should the only Exception is at the server

Translated because it's in swedish

"The requested name is valid but data for the actual type could not be found"

Seems that the system cannot retrieve information about your computer from the DNS server. Did you switch off the local (router's) DNS? Or did you change anything else which could be related to a DNS query?

I added an exception handler at the place where it crashed. Please try again.

With revision 3345 it works strange, i then tried with revision 3342 and then it fails again so if this was a bug in MP
dont know but last changes was in my favour.

What was the problem? I only see in the log that a system notification was shown. What did it tell you? (I have to add log output for that...)

When i used revision 3345 i got notification that there was a server available and if i wanted to connect. I answered yes
and the server was connected. But with revision 3342 i got nothing no servers available. As i understood the changes you did
with revision 3345 was not supposed to help the problem but it did.

Note: "Connect" and "Attach" are different things. The notification asked you to "attach". Attach means, bind to a server permanently, which makes that server your "home server". The "connect " happens automatically if the home server is available.

So rev. 3345 is correct? I only asked because you said that it works "strange"... The notification is not strange, it is only very new, I just implemented it

Ok. i thought it was strange that rev3345 was working att all i thought you only made changes for logging the problem.
I thought the problem was on my side and not MP2 itself. My change just made that that problem doesn't crash the UPnP infrastructure.

Yes and no. The problem was/is at your side; a DNS call could not be completed. That could lead to problems in your server connection, if your computer has multiple name aliases. But a normal computer will not suffer under that problem.
