Can't connect to tve server (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have tried a few versions of TVE3 + MP and it works fine on the htpc/server but the clients can't connect. When I try i get connected to the tvservice but the db connection fails. The error log tells me it's trying to connect to "data source = " wich normally means that it's trying to connect to the local machine (wich isn't right because it's a client).

* I have read the wiki and started sql browser etc etc on the server
* no firewalls are on
* the gentle.confg gets overwritten on the client all the time, doesn't seam to matter what i change the connection string to.
* There's no other gentle.config on the client (I have read something about a gentle.config in the All users folder...

Anyone have an idea whats wrong?

Did you enable "allow remote connections" in the setup of mysql\mssql, worth checking.

Yeah, I have checked those settings. Did everything as the wiki described...seams to be something with the connection string.
