We really need the support template to start with. Even though it may not seem necessary it will help ensure that nothing gets overlooked.

Also, if you open the capturecarddefinitions.xml file in the MediaPortal home directory in notepad or IE and then search for the word "compro" until you find the H900 card. There should be a heap of numbers after that. Try and work out the device ID. I think it should stand out but I'm going from memory here.
Now open up device manger in Windows (you know, hardware in system properties) and then go to the properties of the Compro card. On the last tab are all the ID's of the card. Look for the device ID here too. If they don't match then that is why MP cant detect your card. Some versions of the Compro Drivers had a different ID which may be what you are seeing here.

If that's the case, it may be possible to simply edit the XML file in notepad to relfect the new ID from Windows. If that works, make sure you poust back here so others are also able to benefit.

If that doesn't work then we'll need a little more information about each step, as well as the support template.

    Good Luck,

    Marcus.
