Can't display subtitle under picture (1 Viewer)

Hi! Can anyone help me with this? I use Windows Media Player and I downloaded a media codec pack with VSFilter. I tried to configure it so that I can see the subtitle under the picture(on the black space), but when I go to VSFilter Config>Picture size vertical padding, if i choose anything else but "Original height" (like "Extend to 16:9") which would let me see the subtitle under the picture, the movie doesn't play anymore. It just turns black, the media player tells me that it's playing, but nothing happens.
If you have any ideas--maybe some other subtitle decoder that might help, pls let me know. Thanks.

Hello.Maybe you can try SAF, it is predefined for working this way.

Ok, nevermind. I found DivxG400 subtitle decoder works perfectly that way.
