The "required updates" tab on the main MediaPortal requirements page (https://www.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal/requirements) states that the "dvbfix.net" hotfix MUST be installed on WinXP systems.

    HOWEVER:
The link to the "RapidShare.com" site does NOT produce the file for download, and the "MegaUpload.com" mirror site has been seized/shut-down by the US-FBI for piracy issues.

As a result, I cannot download this required hotfix from these (2) previous sources.

WHERE can I safely find and download this required file??

Any help is appreciated. THANK YOU in ADVANCE!

the Rapidshare-link works fine, it's just no 'direct' download. Look for "
    Save File to...

    ...your computer."

Odd I just tested the Rapidshare download/save file to your computer and it worked fine for me. It's the exact same file as psykix posted so no worries.
