Can't get 2 cards to work at the same time (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I am trying to add a second DVB-T card to my HTPC. I picked up a cheapy DVB-T card (Tevion) and put it in the box, installed the drivers and rebooted. The existing card is a Compro DVB-T300. I went to Media Portal Setup and the card was detected as available so I added it to the list of tuners.

Now when I try to view Tv I get a message saying "No tuner can display [channel name]".

If I disable one card, then the other works. They just don't work together. I have read the sticky at the top of this forum about multiple dvb tuner issues, but installing dvbfix didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

    Hi,
Thanks for the answers guys. As I said in my op, I have read through and tried all the instructions from that sticky, but I just can't seem to get psisdecd.dll and mpeg2data.ax to update to the correct versions. Running the bat file doesn't help and I tried several times to manually change them but dxdiag always shows the old versions.

Has anyone had this problem? Or am I doing something wrong? One thing I found is that I was unable to replace psisdecd.dll in /windows/Driver Cache/i386/sp2.cab. How do I replace a file in a cab?

As the first post in the thread says:
You need to put this in a safe directory and run the registration file. Do not put it in the Windows\System32 directory where the original is or Windows will replace it after a reboot.

If you follow the process and execute the BAT file MP does use the new version

I too have tried using DXDiag to check the versions, however it appears to only reference the files in the windows directory and therefore does not show the version change.

I have. I've tried it in many different locations.

Hmmm... Maybe this is the case. Unfortunately I still can't get the 2 cards to work together.
