I have been tryning to get this to work on my system. No luck at all.
Not even playing the stream with VLC.
What to do?

I'm using Windows XP SP2 no firewall during the trial
Latest software from Mediaportal.
Twinhan DVB-T PCI CI the on server (works with Mediaportal like a dream (good work))

I can see the TV-guide but no video/audio.

What to to?
What can I do to present this problem better?

Hi midju,

Let me just step in here before an ever more tetchy development team start ripping you to pieces :) .

Anyone helping out here is going to need a bit more info about your system. There are templates you can fill out but even they might not be enough info for such a general 'shout for help' as yours.

First off, a little more on the specs of the machines, but also, what setup are you using? One server, one client, the same machine, wireless, wired, ( rs232 :) ) ?

And what have you tried? Can you ping the machines? Do you get an error message on screen or in the log?

Help us/them help you. :)

In the tvserver setup check the channel settings on a few of the channels because I'm getting the same error on my setup and I found the DVB-T bandwidth setting for each channel is being changed to 8 instead of staying on 7 and I can't change it back. I'm going to start from scratch again and see how it goes.

When I dowload MP version 0.2.0.0 and update to latest svn build I got version 0.2.1.0

I this correct?

The tv-plugin is using 0.2.0.0? (with svn update)
I have done som recording with the server using manual button.
Works fine. I can se the tv-guide on the client and the client name is posted on the server.

My Client computer is a 3.4 P4 HT (HP d1060.se)
1 gig ram
Nvidia 68000
Twinhan DVB-T PCI CI, bda drivers.
Wireless 108 kb/s
No strange software (I think)
No firewall during test.

The server
Intel Celeron 3.06 (latest Celeron core)
WinXp pro SP2
100 Kb/s network to router
512 gig Ram
ATI 9600 XT
Only MP server installed
No firewall during test.
I'm using NVIDIA decoder on both computers.

The router is a D-link 108 kb/s.

(could it be something with the router config??

GB-PVR client/server works fine.

/Best Regard's

You should use latest SVN build of MP
Not 0.2.1.0
I think he means that installing 2.0 + latest SVN displays 2.1 in the startup splash screen. At least, that was my experience too. I ignored it and everything seemed to still work ok.

Err. Just checking, but you seem to have the DVB-T card in the client as opposed to the server.
