Cant get Conexant 2388x to recognise in RC3 (1 Viewer)

Hi Dman.. here is my log from RC3. http://pastebin.com/630051
This log is from right after i try to add a new card in the config and get the message that no video cards are available. Again this bug started after RC2 cvs-01-10-2006--01-04.

Use this drivers

that driver is a conexant original and you can use it for DVB-T or DVB-S

Dman, This a different card from my ATI HDTV wonder.

ditronics, i am using the S-video input on the card, not the actual tuner.

I see but this software is the driver for the device we need it to identify correctly the card to work right with MP.

ok.. i tried it anyways, and it told me that it couldnt find any dvbt cards on my machin which is normal since there are none. My card is a regular oem Asus PVR card that came shipped with my HP m1070n.

This shouldnt be THIS hard to fix!! it worked with RC2 cvs-01-10-2006--01-04 and the next cvs it didnt, and hasnt since!.. SOooo my question is what changed in that cvs?!!? and is it fixable??
