Can't install Windows Media Player 11 (1 Viewer)

I have Windows XP w/ MCE 2004. I was directed to this site as a alternative to using Media Center. I
see where people install MediaPortal who do not have Media Center. They use other OSs such as XP Professional. When I try to install Windows Media Player 11 (which is required for Live TV) it fails saying that I must have WMC 2005.

PLEASE HELP...

Thanks for your help. It must have worked as I am not being prompted anymore to install WMP11. When I click on
the MediaPortal icon it immediately starts loading plug-ins and etc.
HOW DO YOU CONFIGURE LIVE TV? When I click on it nothing happens. (Incidentally, I can still go on my MCE2004 and
the Live TV still works there.)

You did select server\client, ie singleseat setup on install.
