Ok I have installed Media Portal and install the Nvidia PureVideo decoder for DVD's and what not. I cannot seem to play a dvd rip from a folder. It just shows a blank screen. I set the proper decoder settings and everything. It works fine in VLC, Media Player Classic, And Windows Media Player 11.

MediaPortal Version: RC3
Windows Version: XP SP2
CPU Type: Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Memory: 3Gb DDR2
Video Card: Nvidia 8500GT 256mb
Video Card Driver: Latest non beta
Sound Card: Onboard
MPEG2 Video Codec: Nvidia PureVideo
MPEG2 Audio Codec: Nvidia PureVideo
h.264 Video Codec: CoreAVC
Remote: Logitech Harmony One with MCE settings
TV - HTPC Connection: DVI-HDMI

i would suggest disabling hardware acceleration... this is usually the problem... also make sure you have the latest drivers or if you have research the most stable for media portal

Well normal DVD's work just fine with current settings. I'm making it an iso file to see if that works if it does then its got to be something specific to the folder playing method.

Ok I think I figured out the problem. I think it was just a problem with the rip because if I hit the menu button it goes to the menu and works just fine.
