Hello all,
I just got my HD2400 videocard and FullHD plays great in windows (I use CoreAVC and FFDShow) it plays both in GraphEdit and WMP...

But no FullHD file (.ts or .mkv) will even start in MP!
Under video codec I have selected FFDShow and Audio codec AC3.
Also I have turned on both these filters in the advanced filters.
I have Haali mediasplitter installed.

Did I forget some setting or should I do something else?

I have several files, some h.264 some mpeg2...
None of them will play in MP but do play in WMP.
Also very strange, one HD file (Band of Brothers - 1080P - 1.01) will play in TV series!

Well I can only assume it's your filters that are getting confused. Can you paste a screengrab of a couple of rendered graphs in graphedit?

'fix'

I 'fixed' it myself,
Noticed that the only .MKV files are played correctly in my setup.

So what I did was change all the HD files to .MKV (with a small file extension changer) and now MP play all of them correctly.

Thanks to the MP community for this great product!

edit:
Got pointed out to the fact that I do not use Cyberlink power DVD, and therefore do not have Hardware HD usage.
I'm sure this was the problem. will try PowerDVD tonight.
