Does anyone have any ideas why I can play all music in WMA format which i have ripped from CD's but i cant play any tracks on my computer which are in MP3 format.
I have made sure that .MP3 is a recognised format in the MP settings and i am using the default player.
Please could someone help as i'm now getting very frustrated.

Thanks
Gary

    Hi Gary,

With this amount of information it is even hard to guess what's wrong.
Please tell what version your using and attach your MediaPortal.log file (it's in ..\MediaPortal\log\).
Set the log level to debug in the general tab of configuration.exe before you generate the log file.

    Regards,
    Jan

    Hi Gary,

The logfile shows problems with the winamp plugin.
I don't know if you intend to use winamp as external player but as a first step you can check what happens if you disable it (configuration.exe->Plugins->External Players->Winamp). If you want to use winamp maybe it is best to update to 0.2.3.0 RC1, although I don't know if there are known problems with it in 0.2.2.0.

    Regards,
    Jan
