cant play recorded files (1 Viewer)

Hey
FIRST... Brilliant produkt....
my problem is, i have just upgraded to 1.0.2. and that was even easier than i thought, but now the miss is all over me
I cant play any of the TV Programs i recorded in 1.0.0 they are all .TS files
it brings up a Blue Square and say ...cant play ...bla bla AND beneath that text is written AUDIO CODEC and thats all......
WHAT are i missing ....i have updatet all windows and FFDSHOW

Sorry, can't help but with a description like this, no one can:

Please, write complete Error-Messages, or make a screenshot. Also the logs from mediaportal would be very, very helpful. What system do you use? What Codecs?

I'm not very good in reading logs, more an enduser than developer or error-searcher ;-) But try to give it a shot.

What is suspicios to me are entries like that inside mediaportal.log:
2009-08-25 10:31:20.796875 [Warn.][PoolThread12]: VideoThumbCreator: File \\biografen\H\Optaget TV\The Prime Gig.ts not found!

Seems like MP don't find the recorded files to me. Can you check if the files are still available at the right destination?

\\biografen\H\Optaget TV\Eureka - DR1\Eureka - 5 - 2009-08-10 - 23_10.ts seemed to play fine, as far as I can tell.. (correct me if I'm wrong). Is that a newer recording? Or also a 1.0.0-recording?

Maybe you can add the recording-folder to MyVideo, any try to find and play the recording there. Would be a hint for a false entry inside the recording-table, if it works here.

I Have No clue why it's the drive with the letter H ????
It's the drive G: and the Recording setup in TVServer points to that Location.
The Prime Gig.ts is in recording folder and so are Eureka - 5 - 2009-08-10 - 23_10.ts, but none of them can be played.
If I exit Mediaportal, and clicking on the The Prime Gig.ts or Eureka - 5 - 2009-08-10 - 23_10.ts, then they both start Fine in Windows Media Player

Hey Again....
I tried to move a recorded file from Recording file folders to Movie folder, and when i looked under Videos and tried to play the recorded file, there was no problem.
I Deletet the File from Recording Folders, and rebootet the PC.
After that, the recording file wasn't in the recording folder...so far so good
BUT
When i copied the file BACK into the recording folders, i cant see it under the Recorded Files under My TV... (tried to reboot, just in case)
IF i go into TV-Server Configuration and changing the recorded TV Folder to another Harddrive and folder (Empty harddrive and empty folder), and restart the Mediaportal..then all the Files under recorded files are still there.....
Looks like the overall problem i have, is that my recorded files database is not up-to-date, or it does not autoupdate .....is there a way around this?
And What am i doing wrong .....

Hmm... seems that this i a bigger problem than i thought, many are having the same problem
and not much are common... only that they have updatet

I get the same problem as this when I record certain programmes from BBC2 and FIVE (other channels seem fine for some reason).

When it happens and I check the recordings directory, usually there is an .XML file only, with no .ts file in the directory. So I think it is something to do with the recording service not working for some reason.
