I recently installed RC3 and I can't play video files. Not sure if it's from the upgrade because I was having slight issues before the upgrade, but now it's worse. Basically, when I enter the videos menu, select the movies folder mapped to my drive, then select an .avi file, it loads it but the screen starts flickering black. I can hear the video in the background, but the black screen is just flickering quickly. It seems like a move player problem. I switched my movie player to WMP11 and it loads it and plays the movie, but I prefer not to use it because it doesn't load clean like the default MP player used to. I have ffdshow installed, tried to remove it and had the same problem. I'm using an old Thinkpad T40 laptop with all the latest drivers. I know the video card is crap, but it was never a problem before. Any ideas how I can troubleshoot this? There is no error log so I don't know what other information I can give to help solve it.
