UPDATE: updating the Firmware of the FloppyDTV fixed that problem, at least on my system so far. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whenever TV is not running in MediaPortal and I want to start an HD channel (720p or 1080i) directly, I get the error(or something similar, translating from german). However, when I start an SD channel, it starts just fine and when I change to an HD channel after that, the HD channels work without any issues too. I can reproduce this error reliably every time on 2 different systems. This is my setup: Server:

Win XP SP2
AMD Athlon X2 4850e
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-DS2H
4 GB RAM
TV Server 1.0.2
FloppyDTV S2
Client 1:

Windows Vista 32 Home Premium
Dell XPS M1330
GeForce 8400M GS
T7250
2 GB RAM
Media Portal 1.0.2
using CoreAVC 1.9.5.0
Client 2:

Win XP SP2
AMD Athlon X2 4850e
Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H
4 GB RAM
Media Portal 1.0.2
using CoreAVC 1.9.5.0
I have attached fresh logs for each test on each machine. The test went as follows:

started ORF 1 HD - error
started Astra HD+ - error
started ORF 1 - works
started ORF 1 HD - works
I have looked into the logs a bit myself. The MediaPortal.log does not show any errors:
2009-07-12 16:42:46.503341 [Info.][MPMain]: TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): View channel=ORF 1 HD 2009-07-12 16:43:01.529341 [Info.][MPMain]: TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): View channel=ASTRA HD+ 2009-07-12 16:43:23.657341 [Info.][MPMain]: TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): View channel=ORF1
The TsReader.log only shows information after the SD channel was successfully set up. However, in the tv.log of the server I can find this:
2009-07-12 16:42:55.593750 [12]: WaitForPMT: Waiting for PMT. 2009-07-12 16:43:05.593750 [12]: WaitForPMT: Timed out waiting for PMT after 10,015625 seconds. Increase the PMT timeout value?
This is after the first channel switch to ORF 1 HD. After that, the TV Server continues it's usual business, by fetching the EPG of other channels, until I try to switch to Astra HD+, where the same thing is shown in the log as mentioned above. After switching to an SD channel (ORF 1) and then to ORF 1 HD, everything works and the log shows this:
2009-07-12 16:43:43.078125 [12]: WaitForPMT: Waiting for PMT. 2009-07-12 16:43:43.218750 [4]: subch:0 OnPMTReceived() True
Suddenly, PMT is received. Whatever PMT is ;). Increasing the PMT value does not help. Why is this happening? Btw. this error happened in 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 as well, but I didn't test it as thoroughly yet, since I was hoping that it might get fixed in the future.
