No problem mm, I do just the same, but provide far less useful help that you do, even when I have read it properly :ooops: Just to update this thread, I have still had no occurances of the original problem since changing my DVB EPG from "grab when idle" to "grab when in use". Hopefully this may help others. Do you think this would be a useful addition to the WIKI? I though I had a problem with my DVB-T card yesterday, but it turns out that my wife had pressed "Record until manual stop" It did prompt a thought in my mind about the GUI though. When you have this option selected, other than the flashing record circle in the top left hand corner (StreamedMP skin), there is no indication within the EPG that a channel is being recorded. The only way you can see what is happening is by going into "Active Recordings". Would it not be sensible to colour all the EPG line for that channel a different colour (orange) to alert the user to the recording? i.e. red for EPG record, orange for manual record and yellow for EPG alert? Just a thought Rob
