Hello everybody
I've just downloaded current stable version 1.0.2 and am trying to configure it for watching TV (DVB-S).
It took a while and I updated everything so that deploy tool finally gave me the opportunity to install MP.
It was possible and easy to search for channels and mediaportal receives signal accurately and stores channel list as it is.
here's where I'm stucked:
1st- I can't preview channels, preview results in a blank window with no audio.
2nd- when I enter My TV and try to Turn On TV it takes a while till finally MP announces that it can't create graph.
here are my specs:
SkyStar2 - with 4.5.1 drivers (main suspect! cause it has many problems with DVBDream and AltDVB)
WinXP SP3 - Win7 - no difference
Cyberlink PowerDVD 8 MPEG2 and H264 codecs
I tried both EVR and VMR9 - no difference
MySQL Server 5.0
I applied dvbfix patch provided in this forum (for that annoying window)
SkyStar2 users, pls consider this. you might be able to help.
