If you're seeing lots of channels named "Unknown..." then you should try to increase the SDT/VCT timeout setting, as recommended in the wiki.2. When a channel is named "Unknown..." it means TV Server was unable to acquire the channel's name and number.That's very very common with clear QAM. Aside from the above recommendation (1) there's nothing we can do about it. Cable providers may or may not broadcast channel names and numbers in a way that a clear QAM tuner can understand. The FCC doesn't force them to do it... so they usually don't (typical, right!). The same limitations apply to all TV software that supports clear QAM.3. Unknown X-Y has a meaning.X is the physical channel (frequency) that the channel is broadcast on.Y is the channel's program number.I know that's not particularly helpful, but believe it or not those are literally the only details we have access to.I'm sorry that you're feeling aggravated and frustrated. Best I can tell, the pattern you're describing is not a known bug. That means none of us receive our TV via ATSC or clear QAM, and therefore we don't use that scanning interface.
