can't use remote control before clicking mouse (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

Sometimes (about 30% of the time), I have to move and click the mouse before MP responds my remote control. Even if I remove the mouse from the PC, MP will not respond my remote control. My remote is a MCE V2.

I have a mouse attached to the PC all the time just to accasionally copy or delete some files.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Looks like you need to tell MP to steal focus. I'm sorry i'm not much more help but the option is in the general settings for MP always on top somewhere.

set mediaportal to be "always on top" in MediaPortal Configuration -> general

Thanks a lot. I have fixed it.

Actually I had MP set to be "always on top". The problem was that I installed some ASUS drivers for the DVB-T card, it installed some other software itself, and those software 'stole' the focus from MP even though they are at the background and invisible. After I removed those extra software, it is all fine now.

Don't know if it's just part of the fun?
