Hi,
Hope someone can help as I am really lost.

I have installed a Pinnacle 4000i Dual Sat Pro PCI card in my PC - drivers auto installed by Vista etc.

When I run TV Server configuration and click on the Server, it lists two cards and the radio stream on the Right hand side of the dialog, but they are not listed directly below the Server on the left hand as described on the following page:
TV-Server/Configuration/TVServers - MediaPortal Manual Documentation

This means I cannot get to the LBN Setup and Scanning pages as there are no cards to click on in the left hand tree list.

Can someone please tell me where this is going wrong?

Thanks!

    Hi Harry,

can you post a screenshot, one if you selected "TV Servers" on the left hand side and one where you can see the 2(3) cards.

Did you give the server a hostname?

    Hi,
It seems the card was not seated properly and after being being successfully found by Vista and drivers installed etc, it suddenly reverted to unrecognised in the device manager. Taking the case off and reseating it seems to have done the trick. I have actually taken a 4000i and trimmed the bracket to make it fit in a low profile case but I need to tweak the size of the bracket to make it stay down!

Found plenty of channels on the scan - and managed to watch a few.
    Thanks for the reply!

For future reference - it is possible to modify the bracket on a Pinnacle Dual Sat Pro PCI 4000i to fit into a low profile case - I am using a Antec Minuet which is only 10cm tall.

Lopped of the top of the bracket and left just enough extra to bend into the L shape so I can use a screw to keep it in place.
