Trying to understand the card priority setup in MP.
I have 4 tuners with the cards
Aver
Compro
Dvico (dual 4)
As the Aver is by far the best on channel change I use that for live viewing and want to reserve it for this.
I want the Aver ONLY to record when all other cards have been used for recording, yet to have it as top priority for viewing (so always available unless it has been required for a recording)
Logic would organise something like this
Aver Priority 10 - View TV true - Record true
Compro Priority 5 - View TV false - Record true
Dvico A prioirty 4 - View TV false - Record true
Dvico B prioirty 3 - View TV false - Record true
However what happens in this instance is the Aver is always used to record first, I assume as its priority is highest.
Easy you say, just put its priority to the lowest and it will record last. The problem with this is the View False check's on the other three tuners are totally ignored, so whatever the highest priority card is then used for viewing, even if the Aver is not in use for capture.
Note: The way I think I have tested this is to simply be on a channel viewing then it 'record', I just realised I should probably test with a schedule recording
Maybe there needs to be a seperate prioirty for viewing an recording, though not really necessary if the view "false/true" flags seemed to be enforced. (the record false flag is).
