Not sure if this is a problem with the scraper or not but I imported 2 James Bond films into my collection, Casino Royale & Quantum Of Solace. The scraper renamed Quantum Of Solace as James Bond XXII: Quantum Of Solace but didn't rename Casino Royale which I expected to show up as James Bond XXI: Casino Royale.

Any Ideas??

To debug that, the least amount of information I would need is:

    1. The filename you used, so I can import it myself and see what the results are. Unfortunatly imdb.com gives different results based on your location around the world, so I might not get the same results on the exact same filename.

    2. Open up MovPic config, goto Movie Manager tab and click on the "Casino Royale" movie. Then on the right side scroll down to the bottom and look for the IMDb_id, which should be "tt0381061", but might have been for some weird reason picked up as something else. If you give me the IMDb tt-ID that got used for your system, I might be able to 'guess' what happened.

    3. Provide me with the movingpictures.log and IMDb+.log files, so I can get some information out of them.

    4. Turn on scraper-debug mode in MovPic config and sent the "Casino Royale" movie back to the importer, so the giant log file (roughly 1.5MB *per* movie) will tell me exactly what is happening.

So try to at least give me the answer to 1 and 2, if I'm still unable to figure out what happened, then I might have to talk your through how to do step 4.

    Thanks RoChess,

    1. The Filename I used was Casino Royale.
    2. The IMDB_id used on my system was tt0381061
    3. Not sure where to find those, please advise.
    4. Please advise what i need to do to help.

    Thanks

Re: IMDb+ Scraper - Movie Scraping on Steroids v3.3.5

    1. The Filename I used was Casino Royale.
    2. The IMDB_id used on my system was tt0381061

Totally my fault. Made some changes to the rename database in preperation for enhancements to the IMDb+ plugin, this however makes the "Casino Royale" movie fail, because that happens to be the movie I use inside the "comments" on all the different options that are possible. The scraper-script however has measures in place to prevent multiple entries on the same movie, which is why it didn't work. You would have been able to see this in the movingpictures.log file, but I was able to do it for you :)

The comment field is now moved outside of the main node, so everything will function again for "Casino Royale". Thanks for catching that one, always amazing that no matter how much we test before releasing, something always slips through the cracks. It used to be one of my test movies, but after having tested a gazillion times with it, eventually I got tired of it and used other movies, which is why I never even noticed a problem.

    So everything is fixed.

Within 24 hours your rename database will auto-update, and if you open the hidden menu you can see at the bottom the last time your plugin checked for updates, so it will be the next day then. You can use the "IMDb+ Info" button to see more details and you want to see v1.0.4 being installed, as that is the one that contains the fix. After that, simply refresh the details for "Casino Royale" inside MovingPictures and you should see the "James Bond..." title change. To actually get the movie to then sort correctly in the list, you have to close MediaPortal and re-open, because MovingPictures decides the order of the list only the very first time it starts.

This is the screen where it shows v1.0.0 now, that you will have to see v1.0.4 soon after your system does the auto-update:

    Enjoy.
