CD DB Lookup (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I have MP up and running. There are still some minor tings I have to figure out, but mostly MP behaves as I like it.

There is however one point I can not understand. When I insert a Music CD no CDDB lookup happens. How and where can I configure this Lookup?
Is there a similar lookup for DVDs (movie & audio)?

There is no CDDB lokup, we're using FreeDB.
It should happen automatically. Nothing needs to be done.

could you please set the log level to "Debug" in Configuration "General".
Then try again and post mediaportal.log.

For Video DVDs you have the IMDB lookup.

I can't find anything wrong within them, but I am no familiar with such things.

Note, that I do not have any TV-card. I am however using WebEPG.

According to your log files you are using the 0.2.2.0 stable version. Some time ago there are some issues fixed with freedb lookup and auto play. To see if these solve your problem you have to use an svn version:

Thanks for the hint.
This was the first time I installed an SVN. Normally I do not like things like this, since I prefer stability over features.

However in this case it seems to solve my problem with the FreeDB lookup. On the other hand it takes a really long time, when I insert a music CD until MP starts to play.
The other thing is that CPU usage with this build seems to be very high. I can not yet fully confirm this, since it could also be the thumb generating in the background (which by the way is really slow if generating thumbs from a 100mbps attached network share).

I will do further tests tomorrow. I have to fully check all the other MP functions within my setup anyway.
