Change of resolution without restarting MP (1 Viewer)

Since I am using MP in two different rooms where I have widescreen in one room and 4:3 in another I am changing resolution with an assigned remote button. This is working perfectly, but fullscreen video always gets messed up and are still in the other resolution even if MP GUI has changed to correct resolution.

What I have to do is to exit MP. Then press remote for resolution change. Start MP and fullscreen are in correct resoution.

Is this a bug in MP or a limitation of windows/directx?

I can live with this, but it would be easier and simpler for specially my wife to get resolution change work without restart of MP.

It's currently limitation in MP. Hopefully MP II will handle that kind of situation better.

are you trying to do this on the fly, ie with video already showing, because MP has never been able to do that, and the chances of getting a fix is unlikely (MP2 hopefully will).

Usually changing in something like the Home screen is the best bet.

I am changing the resolution when I am in the home screen. I don't have any video playing.
