Hi, for me Mediaportal is the only application wich is capable of changing the power setting for Windows. My systems normally runs at 1000 MHz but should go up to 2400 MHz when things get busy like playing HD content. MP is the ONLY program wich can hold my system down to 1000 MHz, so it is interfering with the cool 'n quit function for AMD processors.Don't ask me why and how, I have this problem on three different AMD machines and NOT on any (four) Intel machines.Check your power settings in the configuration panel and make sure you get all the processesing power you need.And check it every now and than 'cause MP can change it.
