I'm receiving BBC HD via satelite with the audio track for the visually impaired. I find this distracting and would prefer the 'normal' soundtrack. Similarly, Swiss TV often broadcasts with two audio channels (for example) French and the original version (i.e. English) on different audio channels.

Is there a way of changing this in MediaPortal? I have looked under the TVconfig and can't find a way to alter the audio channel. I should add that I am not sure this is how switching the audio channels works or if it is at all possible for BBC HD.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You have several way to change the audio track, it depends on how you control MP.

If you're using the mouse, then right click on the live tv picture to bring the action menu. (from there you can choose the audio track)
If you're using a MCE remote you can click the info button to bring up the same menu, or press the green or yellow button (can't remember what is what) to change the subtitles or the audio track.

Thanks, CHli.

I found the button for the menu is F9, and A on the keyboard is to change the audio. So, I mapped my remote to include these two keys. I just need a 'dual language' TV show to test it now!
