    Hi!
Is there a practicable way to change/UPDATE(?!?) from x86 to x64.
All I found is the recommendation to make a total reset --> Can't get TV Server working
But this would really be MUCH MUCH work (configuration, databases, Artwork, plugins and and and...:eek::eek:)

Hmm, depends what you mean by "practicable". From my experience firstly with the pre release of the first x64 version, that upgraded my HTPC from x86 to x64 and used the existing MySQL database although all the plugins I was using also needed to be upgraded to the x64 versions, from memory it left most of the x86 folders untouched and everything worked OK. Subsequently again from memory the first released x64 verson was not compatible with the pre release upgrade so I let things run for a while but with the MP 1.34 release I bit the bullet, uninstalled everything including MySQL, deleted all the Team MediaPortal and MySQL left over folders and did a fresh install of the x64 version and MariaDB. Everything installed OK, DVBT2 tuner, ota TV channels all scanned OK and the xmlTV plugin along with EPGBuddy set up fine. All the plugins I needed were available in the x64 MP Config but of course configuring and setting up everything to my liking did take time! Given that you will need to install all new x64 plugins and configure them I would recommend not attempting an upgrade of your x86 version but the more straitforward uninstall/fresh install particularly if you are still using the now well past its sell by date MySQL! For me the pros of the x64 version are a maybe slight speed improvement but putting the HTPC to sleep is greatly improved:), still not 100% but close, the x86 version would fail to go to sleep or wake up immediately about 50% of the time. Whatever you decide make sure you have a good system image backup just in case.;)

If I perform a complete uninstall and then a fresh 64bit installation, can I then restore the film information?
Or do I have to scan the films folder again and reassign all films manually?

Don't know, I use the Moving Pictures and MP TV Series and just set both to source from the appropriate folders and they did the rest. Interestingly the Moving Pictures plugin is not listed in the x64 MP Extension Manager(MP TV Series is) which may be an oversight because a x64 recompiled version is available elsewhere and works well.
