Hello all.
Just new to Media Portal. Been an MCE2005 user for a long while now and decided to give MP a go. I had played with much earlier versions but decided to explore the current versions, which I must say is pretty dam good! Well done MP team!!!
Back onto the question, I am running latest MP version with the Xface skin ( which rocks, thanks to the author for this one ) and was wondering how do you go about changing the home and basic home screen listing names?
I don't want to have "My Music" and would like to have just "music" instead. Same goes with My Movies and so on. Now I understand these are located in XML files, but I am not confident enough to playing around.
So which ones have this information in them so I can change it???? Are these XLM files in the skins folder under the forementioned skin or are they part of the main MP app???
I tried searching the forums for an answer, but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

You can do this (the example changes you mentioned anyway) by going into the Configuration application and selecting General > Skin. In the Language Setting box there's a checkbox call "Use string prefixes" - set this to be check/unchecked to include/remove the "My" from the labels.

I think this is what you're after?

Good luck.
