Changing serialnumber on a CAM (1 Viewer)

Is it possible to recode the serialnumber on a CAM? I'm trying to get rid of my tuner, and run my DVB-T subscription on my HTPC. So far, I can get the free channels, but since the subscription/card is paired with the CAM in the tuner, it won't work on my pc. The optimal solution would be to duplicate the CAM from the tuner (recode the serialnumber in another cam), so if anything should go wrong with the computer, I would still have the tuner as a backup. I realize I can have another cam paired with the card, but then I wouldn't have the normal tuner as backup.
