Fresh install of MediaPortal 0.2.2.0 last night and everything seems to be running smooth except for one problem. When I change channels (either from keyboard or remote) it will go one channel higher. For example:

1. From the keyboard I type '24'
2. '24' shows up on the TV screen
3. MediaPortal tunes to 25
4. Look at channel guide, verify that it shows I'm on 25

Because it shows that I'm on 25, I don't think it's a matter of the channel's being tuned a little off.

Thanks in advance and let me know if I can provide more information.

Actually, I would think this is a problem of a different kind. I already discussed it here with few other people. What happens, I believe is that MP changes channels based on their index in the list that you have, not on an actual channel number - so, I would think that you are missing one channel in the range 1-25 and your channel 25 is actually just 24-th entry in the list - so, you press 24 and you get to 24th channel in the list, which, in your case, is channel 25, but it could be channel 30 or 45 or whatever based on your list. To test just create a channel group, add few channels in there (use Setup for this) and then in MP open that group and try to switch channels there..

If this is not a problem, then I'm not sure what it is..

That makes quite a bit of sense as to why the channels would be off like they are. Is there a way to manually index them based on the channel number so that they match, or switch the behavior so that it does use the channel number?

The only thing that worked, as far as I know, is adding dummy channels to the list of channels in place of the missing ones. I guess MP just takes index on an element in the list rather that tries to find channel based on a channel property in channel class.. Haven't done this myself because I'm too lazy to add bunch of channels, but someone tried and it worked..

There should be a checkbox in MP config something to the effect of US style or EU style channel numbering. I'm at work or I would find the exact place, but I believe it is part of the main Television dialog near the bottom. It defaults to EU mode, but if you switch it to US mode it should work better for you.
