Channel change time (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm using a Compro Videomate DVB-T300 with a build from early May and have just started trying the TV functionality (TV Engine).

The channel changing seems very slow, but since I don't normally use the TV stuff, I don't know if that's normal.

What's the 'average' experience like?

Seems a little slow, when I'm using it. Is there a way to speed it up?

How does it compare to Windows MCE (Vista)?

I use the DVB-T300 as well and it takes 1-2 seconds for channel changes. I can't actually remember now, because I have been using MP for several months, but I think that it used to take that long with the Compro software and remote, so it is probably a hardware/driver issue. I am not a channel surfer so it hasn't bothered me greatly, but it would be nice to have quicker changes

I'm using a Hauppage NovaT USB. It's not instant but is not slow. I never find myself tutting and ranting anymore, unlike when I was using a Freecom USB stick. Can't recommend it highly enough.
