Hello everyone,
Well I have everything running - only took be 5 days. It was worth it though. I just have a couple of question regarding channels.
Under "Capture Cards" when I select my Hauppauge and click edit. I go to "Auto Tune" I changed LNB 0 and 1 to 11250 and when I scan for channel it gives me only 150 channels on 91 Bell. I know there is something like 241 channels. The reason I ask is because I want the RDS channel. How do I get the channels I am missing? My signal and quality is perfect and I know those missing channels are there.
That is my main question, but I am also wondering about the zap2it. I have an account and all however when I use it to receive my EPG it creats a whole new list of channels that are not viewable. I get an error like "no capture card can receive bla bla channel" I am going by what I remember so don't quote me on that one lol. How do I make it update the EPG for the channels already scanned on the Hauppauge? Or am I suppose to somehow assign the zap2it channels to my DVB-S card? Like do they contain video PID and audio PID numbers?
I'd like to get the zap2it EPG running because the EPG from DVB-S is not as good. if anyone knows of a way to improve it please let me know. So far I only get an hour or two. I know its possible to get 7days out of DVB-S EPG but I am not sure if this program can do that, and how.
Thank you for your time and I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read this.
Zor.
