I think it might be quite useful to have a channel manager as part of the client plugin that allows you to select on a per client basis which channels/groups are available to each client. This would allow you to not have duplicate channels for SD/HD on an HD capable unit BUT still allow units that can only decode SD to access the TV Server. This would also require that TV server removes the channel check boxes that exist now.
If you could password protect the channels/groups for each client, would make it child friendly.
