I recently installed MediaPortal RC4. I have been able to configure nearly everything but noticing the following:

MCE Remote mapping is not the same on my Harmony one. When I use my harmony 1 in WMC 7 all buttons work as designed however in MP the info button when pressed acts as the back button for example. This maybe due to the iMON setup which I need to look at a little more closley.

What has me though is channel mapping. when watching live TV and I am in Australia and I select Channel 7 HD (070 or 70) it actually takes me to ABC channel which is channel 20. When I do channel 20 it takes me to a completley different channel.

I have noticed in the TV Server cofig the ID numbers for each channel I assume this is why its happening. How does one fix this so when I press 70 on my remote it will take me to channel 7 HD as described?

This was one of my annoyances that I accepted in 1.02 Official Release. I just learned the new order and channel assignments. What it is doing is assigning Channel Number 1,2,3,4,5 etc to the order of the channels. So if your channel 7 was number 23 in the list, pressing 23 will tune your channel 7.

In the tv server setup (I think it exists in RC4 too), there is an option to display the channel numbers too. I forget the actual location and will update if need be when I get home. I think it warned that it was for USA only tuners...maybe. It might have been for each tuner...

Anyway, the result is that it shows the actual channel on the TV Guide. I can then type 7 for my Channel 7 (which is actually third in the order) and it tunes Channel 7 for me. Better than learning the new order of channel assignments.

Issue might be this might be for ATSC only...idk.
