I have ripped every TV Series I own on DVD to my harddrive as individual VOB files which I then changed to MPGs by manually changing the file extension. This works pretty well, except that I'm having a very strange problem with Futurama. Anywhere that there was a chapter break on the DVD, the video on the MPG/VOB skips ahead about 10 seconds past the start of the next chapter.
Of the 15 series I've ripped, only Futurama does this. I tried using DVDShrink, DVD Decrypter, and DVDFab, and each produces the same result. If I rip them to an ISO, it plays fine, but once I seperate them into VOB files, this glitch occurs.
Has anyone else had this problem before? I know this isn't really Media Portal specific, since it does it with external players as well, but I don't really know a better place to ask about it.
