I am trying to setup Mediaportal with my Avermedia 2.0 USB card, which is getting signals from a set top box through composite.
When I am using the applications that follows the drivers I am getting an alright image quality which flows with no interuptions.
When I am setting this up in Mediaportal however I am experiencing some difficulties. Obviously I am trying to use the Codecs from Avermedia, there is two avalible:
I have 4 other codecs available as well. I have tried most of them, but Avermedia MPEG-2 Demuxer is the one that has given the best results.
They are stil not good though.
The picture is very choppy, every third frame or something is dropped. And thers is no sound.
Anyone here that has got this working? Any hints for me as to which end I should start troubleshooting this thing?

Avermedia MPEG-2 Demuxer
