Site displays, but circle continues to spin waiting for team-mediaportal.com according to text at bottom left. Login is possible. Posting/replying is not possible -- the text entry box is missing. This has been happening for a while, perhaps a week or more -- not sure.

Sometimes posts become possible after other activity. Not sure what activity frees it up.

Chrome version "42.0.2311.90 m" up to date. Windows 7 up to date.

    Cache: no effect

Allowed 3rd party cookies: problem is gone. Why would this be needed by the site?

Update: re-disabled 3rd party cookies, cleared cache and cookies. Still working.

I'll get back if it fails again.

thanks for the feedback. There are possible 3rd party cookies from facebook or twitter (-buttons) but those shouldn't affect the page or especially the posting area itself. Will try some tests too but let me know if this happens again please.

I have the same problem, Chrome 43.0.2357.134 (64-bit) on OS X.
I noticed that when I disable CSS for the Forum (source https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/) it loads, else it loads infinite :(

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.
