clear-qam works in MP? (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I heard some problems with clear-qam and that some cards can not work without using their own software to view the channels. Are they viewable with the media portal software? I like to see the HD channels that are not encrypted by Comcast on my tv, so hopefully Media Portal is able to do this. If so, which cards are supported and not supported if anyone knows.

I think only AVerMedia AVerTV Combo PCIe or the HDHomerun do, but I am not sure.

hauppauge hvr1600 definitely works. The 1800 probably works. FYI, QAM is very disappointing unless you have loads of time and are in a market where comcast hasn't encrypted everything.
