Recently I upgraded my Server from 1.0.0 to version 1.0.2 as it was NOT recording manual or single entry recordings. There was no issue with recordings that were anytime on anychannel.

Now it works ok, but the 3 clients I have in the house which were 1.0.0 (until today which I upgraded one) did not recognise the music playlists that were on the client. I have created several playlists on the server for our music and the clients access them but do not play them.

Since upgraded one of the clients to 1.0.2 to see if that was the issue, it recognised the playlists but responds with unable to play name of track as cannot find audio codec.

Any one out there able to offer advise or solution as to how to get a client to play songs in a playlist located on the server.

Hi

Most probably the file locations not the same as stipulated in playlist file.
Edit it with a text editor (like notepad) and verify the file locations.

The file location on client and server must be the same if you want to use the playlist on both client and server.

Example:
If you have on the server (lets call it PC1):
c:\music\song1.mp3
and you want to use it on more than one PC, try the following:
Create the music share on the server PC as \\PC1\music rather that c:\music
Share the c:\music folder on the server.
Now create a music share on the client pc and also point it to \\PC1\music
Point both PC's playlist location to same folder as well (example \\PC1\MusicPlaylist)
Edit your playlist and globally replace any directory pointer from c:\music to \\PC1\music
