I recently reinstalled Mediaportal (old install didn't have this issue). The problem I have now is that after 10 minutes of playback (recording or live tv) mediaportal starts stuttering. If I pause playback and resume after a couple of seconds the stuttering goes away only to return 2 minutes later.

Use DirectSound Device as Audio Renderer for LiveTV, instead of MPAR.
And not sure @ what refresh rate your monitor/TV is running, but you might wanna consider using Dynamic Refresh Rate.

Have you tried another Video Codec for TV besides the Microsoft DTV Decoder?

I will use Direct Sound and report back.

My refresh rate is set to 60hz.

I also tried using LAV and ATI and still had stuttering after 10 min.

Very good possibility that MPAR is the cause of that, since it tries to speed up/down the stream. This is not possible for LiveTV, but this still doesn't explain the stuttering on recordings playback. What you could try during a recordings playback is skip back 15 seconds when the stuttering occurs, and try to confirm that the stuttering is in the stream and not in the recording.

refresh rate seems good based on your country.

There are a couple of continuity errors in your logs, which could be the cause for the stuttering also. Might be a good idea to run MediaPortal in windowed mode, open up the Task Manager (Ctrl + SHift + ESC) and open the Performance tab while you play back a recording or watch LiveTV. Maybe you'll notice some spikes in disc activity or memory usage, which could also explain the stuttering.

Yesterday while watching some recordings I was able to confirm that the stuttering was not in the recordings by rewinding 15 seconds.

That's another good thing to know, because that points towards the client having issues, and not the server.
Any improvements on LiveTV playback without MPAR?

Yes. Changing it to Default Direct Sound device fixed the issue!

The reason I used MPAR when I reinstalled Mediaportal on the client was because it was the only way I was able to
get the same volume level on all channels. With Direct Sound Device, some channels' volume levels are lower and some are higher.
This is pretty bothersome especially when channel surfing. But I can live with it. Thank's for all your help.
